Energy Efficiency
Careful attention to how our homes are heated, cooled and introduce fresh air into the living space is essential to our sustainability commitment. Keeping our ducts in heated places and high-efficiency systems represent some of our additional standard measures. We offer mini-split heating and cooling systems, heat recovery ventilators, additional insulation as well as high performance windows to name just a few of our energy efficiency options.
Future Proofing With Solar
While we have included a “solar-ready” standard for many years, we have recently adopted a higher threshold option for our homes— a 9.3 KW capacity for future panel installation. Solar Panels and battery backups have become an important offering (usually accompanied with significant tax credits) for homeowners who wish reduce their carbon footprint. Some buyers opt for an “all-electric” homes to further reduce a reliance on natural gas.
